Abandoned Sanatorium Beelitz-Heilstätten (Part 3)

While I was running around the abandoned hospital with the Nikon Camera and my iPhone, my wife was carrying the Fujifilm and I have to say, she shot some nice pictures herself.

She has a good eye for little special things, such as these dragon head roof elements in one of the big rooms:

Since I had no flash for the Nikon with me, I had to take the Fujifilm down to the basement to explore...

Ghost Hospital - The Videos

I need more than two hands.
Two more would be nice, so I can hold a camera and my iPhone at the same time. I had to walk through the men's sanatorium more than twice to capture the stuff I wanted on photo AND video, so the video was more like a nice-to-have.
Next time around, I'l, take more time to film the whole thing.

Abandoned Brewery.

I'll have to go back to this one as soon as possible.
Originally only a nice-to-have opportunity for exploration, the old "Bärenquell Brauerei" (Bearpond Brewery) proved to be a true jewel.
The brewery, the entire complex is huge! It consists of at least twelve buildings, for exapmle the residence of the officers, the administration offices, the beer storage with the cooling tower and a lot more.
To give an impression of the size, here's a picture of the southern buildings:

As you can see, the thing is big. Really big. So big that I think I'll need at least a day to fully explore it, and I hopre that day is soon.
Anyway, with about an hour of daylight left, here are some impressions from the brewery.

Abandoned Amusement Park

The "VEB Kulturpark" was the only permanent amusement park in the German Democratic Republic (Eastern Germany) and was opened in 1969.
After the German reunification the park was re-opened as "Sprrepark Plänterwald" in 1992 and was closed again in 2001 due to weird planning by the Berlin City senate, who decided to turn the area into a nature preserve which cut down the park to about 2 thirds of its original size and cut down the parking areas to almost zero.
So since 2001, the park and the reamining attractions are exposed to wind and weather which makes for some really nice photo opportunities.
Especially the ferris wheel is cool, it reminds of the photos of Pripyat I've seen.
