Tour Report: Textile Mill K. [Revisit]

After the successful exploration of the abandoned hospital, we still had some time for another location. It was the third day into our four-day tour of central Germany together with our dear friend Freddy from Nordgriller Urbex almost one and a half years ago, and it was getting a bit later than we had planned, so it had to be a location not too far away.
We decided on a spot that my wife and I had visited once before in November of 2013, an old textile mill. Freddy is very enthusiastic about old industrial ruins, so we figured that this was a nice spot to finish off the day.

The spot is easily accessible, but being right in the city with lots of offices around, we still were a bit hesitant before deciding (as always) to take the straight way and just walk through the open fence, across the area and into the building. Nobody seemed to care, so we had the place to ourselves - at least for a while.
We took our time exploring all remaining parts and as we were checking out the rooms that used to be a club back in the 1990s, we met a guy who was checking out the place as well. It turned out that he was one of the DJs in that club during its heyday. My wife even remembered his nickname upon mention. This was a nice addition to the "historical" experience :)
After all, the years of abandonment have taken a toll on this place, and the past couple of years, the vandals haven't been kind. So after we had explored every accessible part, we left and drove off in time for the final dinner of this tour.
