Cathedral of Industry - The Textile Mill

Since the HDR photos are always the first pictures that I process, I continue the review of our tour with the fifth location - the textile mill.
The building is one of the largest factories from Germany's "Gründerzeit", a period in the second half of the 19th century when many industrial companies were founded.
It was built in 1876, and at its peak employed more than 5.000 people.
Parts of the buildings have been demolished, others are still in use, but no more information about the past and current usage here but in the following posts about this object...

      Das viertletzte mag ich persönlich auch gerne - als ehemaliger DJ war es für mich ein echt cooles Motiv :)

    1. Wow. Vielen Dank! Da bin ich echt geflasht ob dieses Lobes :)
      Die fabrik war auch eine super Location. Teilweise schon abgerissen, aber die vorhandenen Gebäude sind echt der Wahnsinn.

    Tolle Bilder. Das mit dem Mauerdurchbruch echt stark, gefällt mir sehr gut.

    1. Nein, die Stühle waren alle schon da; so etwas wird häufig zurückgelassen. Unverkäufliche Insolvenzmasse oder Relikte von Parties, die irgendwann mal dort stattfanden...man weiß es nicht.
      Der Durchbruch war echt cool, das sah in beide Richtungen gut aus :)
