Abandoned Hospital - Night Time Exploration

Last Night, my wife and I met up with a distant relative who shares our passion for Urban Exploration and we went for a tour of the abandoned hospital.
I have been there so often by now that it almost feels like visiting an old friend, and taking photos in almost complete darkness is always fascinating, so it was a really cool tour which brought out some more very interesting details in the hospital.

Abandoned Hospital - The Tunnels

After a really stressful day at work yesterday, I went down to the old hospital for some photos as a way of relaxing.
I was alone and it started getting dark, so I went down to the basement and started taking pictures in the tunnels. I was only there forabout an hour, so it's not a lot, but I also managed to make a quick video.

Abandoned Hospital - Reinventing an old Friendship

Friday evening, I had planned a little tour to the old hospital again. Little did I know that a really good old friend that I hadn't seen in years was going to contact me.
So all of a sudden, there were two of us, and we spent most of the excursion just talking and catchuing up. So I didn't come up with a lot of pictures, but a couple of them came out alright.
There is no specific topic for this post, I just shot what came in fromt of my camera :)

Abandoned Hospital - Experimenting With Light

After the results of my "Glow-Stick-Excursions" came out so well (Check out the photos here and here.), I decided today to go for another tour of the basements and conduct some more experiments with various light sources.
I used - of course - glow sticks again, a normal flashlight and a LED headlight.
I'm thinking of bringing along some candles next time around...

I also took some photos of myself with my new fashion accessory ;)

Yesterday I got the package from amazon containing the colorful glow sticks I had ordered after my last excursion to the old hospital and of course, I immediately needed to try them out.
But I didn't want to go alone, so I asked on facebook if anyone was interested in an evening tour of the basements, and whaddayaknow - about 10 minutes later, we were a group of four and met 30 minutes later on location.
I tried around with the glow sticks some more and out came some pretty neat results:

Abandoned Hospital - In a Different Light

I wanted to try something new, so I visited the former X-Ray-Department of the abandoned clinic for neurosurgery and "decorated" it with some green and yellow glow sticks.
The first results are promising, but I think I have to go for something with more luminosity, especially in the green part. Something that looks like the light is oozing into the room...
But I do like the idea of lighting tunnels and basements with this greenish or yellowish glow. I will definitely try more in this direction.
