Playing with Photos. Part 3.

As I have said in the past, I love the photo manipulating qualities of the Apple iPhone. I am using the iPhone 4S and my favorite photo/picture apps are
- Hipstamatic
- Pixlr-o-Matic
- Instagram
- Camera+

Since I am no professional photographer, I just take the shot and then try to turn the photo into what I really have seen.
So what you are seeing in these pictures is my perception of reality. Hope you like it :)

This was taken from my new office at work. It is located on the 6th floor of our office building and offers a spectacular view over the port of Kiel, Germany.
I have alwas been fascinated by the tilt-shift effect, but I rarely have a photo with the kind of total overview that makes for a good tilt-shift pic. Anyway, this was one.

These two photos are the insides of one of the computers at work. Our IT dude (there's a photo of him in one of my previous posts) hat to take the machine apart which gave me the opportunity to put the Olloclip on my iPhone and "crawl" into the insides of a computer.

This is one of the team managers that work for me and also a very dear friend for many years. She is a big fan of 70s fashion and when the morning sun after a conference at Iberotel Fleesensee emphasized the colors, I had to take the shot.

A Weekend Retreat

Last weekend the company I work for organized a conference for the entire management level from all four locations of our enterprise.
It was a great opportunity to get to know everyone, work together in groups and of course have fun.
The conference was held at Iberotel Fleesensee in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is located right at the shore of a picturesque lake and the setting sun of early spring gave me a couple of good photo opportunities.

Here are some of the photos I took, enjoy.

This is our CEO during a quick break on the first day of the conference.

Three of our project managers enjoying the sunset at Lake Fleesensee.

I really like the Hipstamatic app a lot, because you can generate so many different moods by combining different films and lenses. Combined with the Olloclip extension for the iPhone which offers wide angle and fish-eye lenses you can really have some fun!

Playing with Photos. Part 2.

This was taken in the summer of 2008 at a barbeque on the beach of Heidkate (Germany). I just recently re-discovered the original version of it and thought I could turn it into something different. It really has an eerie, almost ghostly feel to it now, I think. I like it.

These two (above and below) I took the day before yesterday in the final hour of work. The sun was setting behind our office building (Kiel, Germany) and painted the clouds over the city with really great colors.
I shot the photos from the 10th floor and revamped them with the Camera+ App on my iPhone.

This is our IT dude. He's cool. 'Nuff said.
