In 2010, a promising new investor took over. The old one had closed the park after accidents in the years 2001, 2003 and 2008.
Under new ownership, the park suffered under bad weather and dwindling visitor numbers, so the insolvency proceedings started in 2012.
The park was sold in a foreclosure auction.
The Polish buyer was supposed to ensure a controlled demolition of the park, but he only took what he needed and was never seen or heard from again.
