Abandoned Hospital (Part 8)

No, I'm not getting tired of sharing my photos of the old hospital and I am not tired of taking photos there.
So here ist the rest of my pictures from Monday's tour through two of the buildings.
After exploring the top floor and the basement of the first building, I entered the second building through the basement. It was a really long and dark tunnel which made me miss my flashlight...
The building itself is far less spectacular than you might expect, it has been vandalised a lot, sprayed full of graffitis and the roof is starting to fall apart, so there is pretty much water damage.

But the dark and eerie atmosphere in the basement was great to make up for that.

Abandoned Hospital (Part 7)

As I said yesterday, it will take a couple of posts to share the photos I took yesterday at the abandoned hospital, and here is the second load of yesterday's pictures.
After I had explored the basement, I went upstairs two floors to take some more photos of the auditorium, so a couple of scenes you might know from earlier posts.
After the auditorium floor, I went up to the top floor for the first time and I found the remains of a couple of labs and more tissue samples.
Apperently, on the top floor also had been the labs for creating plaster casts for the Orthodontics department.

Abandoned Hospital (Part 6)

This is my 6th post about this location and it never gets boring!
Everytime I'm there I find something new. Todays highlight was going down to the basement and the top floor of one of the buildings and finding the archive of tissue samples.
There must have been hundreds, if not thousands of samples there from the years 1965 until 1982 or so...
It's amazing that something like this is just left there when they moved the hospital...

I took so many photos today, I'll probably have to post them in more than one post.
Let's start with the basement...
