This one was a completely unexpected and accidental find. After a dey of exploring in Eastern Germany, my wife and I, along with our friends
Pixelcracker and
Lost Places in Schleswig-Holstein und Umland, were on our way home. We were driving to our planned location when we all saw the beautiful facade of a thoroughly burned building, and we decided to stop for a quick peek.
This renovated old castle caught on fire not too long ago and burned down to its foundations, so there really wouldn't have been anything to see even if we had gotten inside.
But from the outside, we were still able to see the castle's former glory.
