The final spot that I visited together with my friend North Urbex on our tour in early November of last year was an abandoned special care clinic.
I was there once before, but since it was pretty close to reach (it was already afternoon) and it was a really nice spot, I didn't mind to go for a revisit.
Access was easy - just like the first time, we parked in the clinic's visitor parking lot. We grabbed our gear, climbed over the fence and found the open window to the spa area that we'd also used the first time.
It was obvious that in the three months since the first visit, some local vandals had been active and had emptied some fire extinguishers. Some graffiti had been added as well.
Still, the spot offered ad wealth of photos, and I even found some rooms that I'd overlooked during the first time.
After about two hours, we got back out and drove home. It was a really cool day - three locations planned, three of them worked out, and we got some realy nice photos :)

You might say I'm a collector. I collect rare objects. Facts, stories...I travel the roads of Germany seeking its heart.

Tour Report: A Place of Execution
This abandoned military shooting range was the second spot that I visited together with my friend North Urbex on a tour back in November of last year.
It is really close to my home, so it was about time that I pay a visit.
Next to the short way, the place also has played a significant part in the dark history of the Third Reich, which makes it even more interesting to explore. During the summer, the local farmers' cows are grazing here, but in the winter, an eerie silence lies over the entire area.
The weather was grey and cold when North Urbex and I arrived at the location and found a place to park in a nearby industrial area. We walked along the fence until we found a hole which was big enough to enter. First, we found the remains of the old shooting area that was used during the time of the Nazis. We then went on to check out the newer facilities. Local teens have endulged themselves in vandalism and graffiti "art", so little is left of the original surfaces.
Nonetheless, it was an interesting place to explore, and we checked out every last corner before we drove off to the next spot.

Tour Report: Villa "Red Room"
In November of last year, I got a visit by my friend North Urbex who was in town for a couple of days.
We had decided to go for a short touor to check out some spots in the region, and this abandoned villa in my hometown was our first spot relatively early in the morning.
We only had to drive a couple of minutes from my home until we got to the place. We parked the car a bit further away to not arise any suspicions - the villa is in a wealthy part of town, and neighbors in these quarters are kind of twitchy when it comes to strangers sneaking around their houses ;)
We had to wait a couple of minutes until some people had passed, and then we leisurely strolled right onto the premises, up to the front door - and the damn thing was open! Man, we were lucky! One step and we were in, clsed the door behind us and started checking the place out.
The house was pretty empty, and there wasn't too much decay, but we managed to get a couple of nice shots. I especially liked the nice light in the basement...I do like basements :)
